Let’s get acquainted with the general principles of work with the interface of Adobe Photoshop. The following figure shows the interface elements (in the latest version of photoshop interface little changed for the better, so you havent problems with it).
In the left part of your screen, placed a Toolbar. Tools in Photoshop quite a lot, so they are grouped. In order to activate a tool icon is visible on the screen, click on it. Main elements are located in the so-called floating palettes, which are also connected to the group. Each palette is a tab and has a label with the name. In addition to the visual elements in the palette, there is the options menu, which can cause a push of a button, located in the upper right corner of the palette. In the options menu palette, you can choose commands for the current palette and call setup palette point Palette Options. Palettes and their groups can be placed anywhere on the screen. There is also the possibility of combining the palette at their own discretion. You just need to drag the label of one palette to another palette. If you have the desire to leave the palette on the screen alone, it should be easy to drag anywhere on the screen, with the exception of other palettes.
Example:
1) On the right side of the main window are four palettes. Access to individual palettes ensured their labels. Do click on the label Actions in the top third group palettes, and it would be on top of the palette History.
2) Move cursor to the label Palette Actions.
3) Click the left mouse button.
4) Not releasing the mouse button, move the cursor outside the window palette. The current situation Actions palette will retain a thin line of circuit.
5) When the cursor will be outside the History palette, release the mouse button. Palettes will be divided.
6) Do the reverse operation: drag the Actions palette for her label, entered the History palette. Palettes will be grouped again.
